Kaitlin King, Administrative Assistant

Kaitlin King joined LFCSA as an administrative assistant in October 2010. She is a neighborhood local having been born and raised in nearby Silverlake. Kaitlin comes to LFCSA from UC, Santa Barbara where she majored in Global Studies and Spanish and graduated with high honors.

Kaitlin’s love of travel has taken her through much of Latin America and the Caribbean. Some of her most memorable trips include chasing down buses in Ecuador; visiting UNESCO World Heritage Site Igauazu Falls National Park on the border of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay; spending a summer in the Dominican Republic to help build an elementary school; conquering a seven-hour climb up the icy and rocky Volcán Villarrico in Southern Chile; island-hopping in the Caribbean; and spending a year abroad studying and living in Santiago, Chile.

She enjoys working at LFCSA for a number of reasons. In particular, Kaitlin enjoys being able to spend time with kids while growing with an organization that is developing and changing every day. As many members of her family are artists, Kaitlin loves to see kids engaged in arts education at such a young age and in such an organic way. Kaitlin is always happy to chat and looking for a reason to practice her Spanish, so stop in and say hello!
