Los Feliz Charter School for the Arts After School News — K–4th Grades
After School Enrichment Classes 1st-4th
Students attend an Enrichment Class and Study Hall between the hours of
3:00–5:00 pm Monday through Thursday. Study Hall is not held on Fridays. The period between 5:00–6:00 pm includes outdoor activities, trivia games or reading.
Monday: Young Doctors
Tuesday: Yoga with Miss Rachel
Wednesday: Contemporary Art
Thursday: Basketball
Friday: Fun Friday – Check with your Site Supervisor to see what’s in store for the end of the week.
Enrichment for Kindergartners (AM: 8:30am-11:30am; PM: 11:45am-2:45pm)
March: Body Oz begins! Students will explore the inner workings of the human body as they
investigate the brain, heart and organs of the body. Students will also focus on the digestive
system and wrap up the month with skin and bones. K.E. Medical School here we come!
April: Music Academy: Kindergarteners will go back in time to learn about three of the most
influential composers of our time—Bach, Mozart and Beethoven. Our young musicians also
will learn about the parts of an orchestra and the different instrument groups.
