Los Feliz Charter School for the Arts (LFCSA) is pleased to announce a charity raffle with the grand prize being the last brand new, team liveried, fully 3-year warranted, never before registered, Ducati Desmosedici in North America. This charity raffle will raise money to benefit LFCSA. The Desmosedici winner will be announced at this summer’s Laguna Seca MotoGP event. Tickets for this raffle are $40 each. The MSRP of the Ducati is $72,500. The D16RR was provided by Bill Nation, owner of Pro Italia Motorcycles (Glendale, CA) and the parent of a student at LFCSA.

How to Purchase a Raffle Ticket
Here are four easy ways to have a chance to win the Los Feliz Charter School for the Arts Ducati Desmosedici raffle:
1. Visit Pro Italia and purchase your ticket.
2. Call 818-249-5707, extension 4, and purchase your tickets over the phone by credit card. Pro Italia will drop your tickets in the mail for free.
3. Fax the completed LFCSA Ducati Raffle Form (pdf) to 818-484-2150. Pro Italia will call you to confirm your order before mailing your ticket(s) out for free.
4. Mail in the completed LFCSA Ducati Raffle Form (pdf), with either your credit card details or a check made payable to Pro Italia and mailed to 3307 N. Verdugo Road, Glendale, CA 91208. Pro Italia will call you to confirm your order before mailing your ticket(s) out for free.
About the Ducati Desmosedici
The Desmosedici RR was the first-ever road-going motorcycle to offer such a stunning wealth of performance and technology that comes directly from Ducati’s experience in MotoGP. The D16 RR derives from the Ducati Corse Grand Prix racing Desmosedici GP6, the same bike with which Loris Capirossi and Sete Gibernau competed with in the 2006 MotoGP World Championship.
Ducati took its 990cc GP bike and did as little as possible to make a street-legal, limited-edition motorcycle. With a power output of 200 HP at 13,800 rpm and 85.55 lb-ft of torque at 10,500 rpm, the D16RR engine follows the guidelines laid down by the Ducati Corse GP engine, a masterpiece of engineering and precision. Terms and Conditions
The winner is responsible for all other costs associated with the purchase and award of the prize, including sales or luxury tax, license and registration fees, if applicable. The prize will not be delivered until after all of the applied taxes, license and registration fees are paid by the winner. This raffle is void where prohibited by law. The IRS position is that amounts paid for chances in raffles, lotteries and drawings for valuable prizes are not gifts, and consequently do not qualify as deductible contributions. A drawing ticket may be obtained at no charge at the Los Feliz Charter School for the Arts.
All faxes, mailers, phone calls must be received (and tickets picked up at Pro Italia) by 3PM PDT on Thursday, July 22, 2010. We will be issuing only 2500 tickets, each to be sold for only $40 with the drawing to be held on July 24, 2010 at the world famous Laguna Seca MotoGP race.
