Our outstanding Fundraising Committee produces several key events per year to build relationships within the community, share our vision with those outside our school, and of course, to raise money.

LFCSA Photo Fundraiser
The 2011 LFCSA Photo Fundraiser will be held Saturday, November 12, from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. This is a great opportunity to have professional portraits done for a very low cost, all of which goes to the LFCSA! Family portraits, pets, head shots, band photos, everyone’s welcome!
LFCSA Halloween Festival
Join us for two days of fun and horror during our annual Halloween Festival slated for Friday and Saturday, October 21 and 22.
Halloween festivities begin on Friday, October 21, 5 to 8:30 p.m., with rockin’ music, food trucks and a haunted house preview…in the dark!
On Saturday, October 22, the annual LFCSA Halloween Festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Come join the fun as we help raise needed funds for our school. Activities include a petting zoo, giant slides, a haunted house, dunk-your-teacher booth, great food, bake sale, Stewies shaved ice, facepainting, spray tattoos, games, crafts and some new surprises.
Admission is free. Spread the word, invite your friends!

Big Night Out Presents ‘LA EATS’

LFCSA Yoga Fest
The first annual LFCSA Yoga Day is Sunday, April 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and it’s going to be a (very relaxing) blast!
Included in the program: yoga classes from Patty Pierce, Mara Hesed, Stefani Manger and Amber Rothwell; a laughter yoga demonstration with Hilary Kimblin; a tai-chi demonstration with LFCSA’s own Ezra Weisz; zazen meditation with Nina Snow; a reading and presentation from LFCSA’s resident yoga author, Neal Pollack; food from Cafe Stella, Delilah’s, and Kamudi Marathe; coffee and tea from The Fix; and a whole program of kid’s yoga curated by LFCSA parents.
Prices for this fundraiser are $50 per individual, $25 for a child, $10 for school teachers or staff or $100 for a family of three or more.

For only $90, families looking for a beautiful group portrait suitable for prints and holiday cards, as well as actors, musicians and entertainers looking for low cost publicity shots, will be able to come and take advantage of our highly regarded photographers and leave with a CD full of beautiful photographs. Our artist photographers work in film, advertising, and fashion and have portrayed some of today’s leading models and celebrities including Taylor Swift, Benicio Del Toro, Adrian Brody, and many others, with work appearing in today’s most popular magazines.
Proceeds benefit LFCSA. Lunch by Café Stella will be on sale as well as holiday gifts from local vendors.

The Los Feliz Charter School for the Arts will host the Fourth Annual Professional Portrait Fundraiser on Saturday, November 14th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For only $75, families looking for a beautiful group portrait suitable for prints and holiday cards, as well as actors, musicians and entertainers looking for low cost publicity shots, will be able to come and take advantage of our five highly regarded photographers and leave with a CD full of beautiful photographs. Our artist photographers work in film, advertising and fashion and have portrayed some of today’s leading models and celebrities including Taylor Swift, Benicio Del Toro, Adrian Brody and many others, with work appearing in today’s most popular magazines.
Photographers include: Andrew Southam, Kiino Viland, Erik Ian, and Lisa Franchot.
The photo session is open to the public and will be located at the school’s new campus at 2709 Media Center Drive, Glassell Park, CA 90065.
