Nick Zanoria’s passion for teaching and nurturing the growth of children grew from summers spent working at residential summer camps. As a student at UCLA, where he earned a B.A. in Sociology and later a Master Degree in Education, he shared his love of the outdoors with children as a counselor at UCLA Unicamp. After college, Nick spent several years as a camp director, designing engaging activities, facilitating ropes courses, and training staff how to foster children’s growth by helping them to develop independence and self-reliance. He put these experiences to good use as a fifth and sixth grade teacher at LFCSA, preparing our students for the academic rigors and personal challenges they would face as they moved on to the next stage of their education. After serving on numerous committees where he helped to develop curriculum and refine systems at our school, Nick decided to pursue his interests in administration by joining the administrative team, where he could continue to serve and work with the students, staff, and families of LFCSA. Outside of school, he enjoys building toys and creating games with his children, cycling, camping, and spending time outdoors.
